Recently, the Leading Group for Promoting the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises under the Nanjing Municipal People’s Government released the 2022 List of “Innovative Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises” in Nanjing, and GGEE. and its subsidiary, CGEE, were successfully selected.
In accordance with the spirit of the “Notice on Organizing the 2022 ‘Thousand Enterprises Upgrade’ Enterprise Inclusion and Cultivation Program and the Evaluation of Innovative Small and Medium‑Sized Enterprises” issued by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology (Su Gong Xin Xiao Zhong [2022] No. 361), innovative small and medium-sized enterprises constitute the foundational strength of high‑quality SMEs. Being successfully selected as a “Innovative Small and Medium‑Sized Enterprise” in Nanjing for 2022 is a strong endorsement of CGEEVand NAST Semiconductor’s innovative capabilities, professional expertise, and core competitiveness.
CGEE. has successively been recognized as a National High‑Tech Enterprise and a Large-Scale Enterprise, becoming a supplier to leading domestic semiconductor material manufacturers. Recently, CGEE’s 6‑inch silicon carbide single crystal growth furnace and CGEE Semiconductor (a subsidiary of CGEE )’s 12‑inch semiconductor‑grade monocrystalline silicon furnace were both included in the first batch of Innovative Products List for Nanjing City. As of today, more than 35% of the company’s workforce consists of research and development personnel, and it has been granted 79 technology patents.
Since its establishment a decade ago, CGEE has been one of the earliest companies in China to develop large‑size silicon wafer semiconductor‑grade single crystal silicon furnace products. The company has successfully completed the development of China’s first 12‑inch silicon single crystal furnace prototype, and the silicon wafers produced by this equipment have already passed positive verification and are being used by mainstream domestic semiconductor chip customers. In the field of third‑generation semiconductor materials, CGEE has completed the development and prototype testing of silicon carbide equipment, with products capable of meeting the technical requirements for 4–8‑inch conductive and semi‑insulating silicon carbide substrates. Among these, the 6‑inch silicon carbide crystal growth equipment was honored as Jiangsu Province’s first set of such equipment, and is now being supplied in bulk to several leading domestic enterprises.
This time, both CGEE and NAST Semiconductor have been simultaneously included on Nanjing City’s “Innovative Small and Medium‑Sized Enterprises” list, which will have a positive impact on the company’s continued expansion of core technologies, deepening its engagement in industrial development, and building out its industry chain. Looking ahead, the company will continue to focus on its customers, strengthen innovation, pursue a path of “specialization, refinement, uniqueness, and innovation,” play a leading and exemplary role, achieve sustainable and healthy enterprise development, and make positive contributions to promoting high‑quality development of China’s semiconductor industry.
